Had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the company of so many wonderful writers.

If you are a keen writer then I recommend you join the Word Cloud Forum

Have learnt an amazing amount of tips on POV, Dialogue, Pacing and Enticing the reader that I will be implementing to Book 1.

Also, The Last Strider is now a series of 5 books rather than a trilogy, however I cannot promise that all 5 books will be written. It all depends on gaining an agent and a deal. But 2011 will be the year of focussed attention on the Strider novel!

Book is now 72,800 Words – which is a major cut from the original 120k- Aimed at Young Adult Fantasy Genre

Book 1 is being redrafted with an aim to increase the sharpness and reduce the length. I plan 2 weeks work on this.

31-12-2010 The Year Ends

2010 has been an eventful year in that I finally got Book 1 written and believe me… it is a weighted weight off my mind. Here’s looking to a prospective outlook that I will have this published. Happy New Year All!

12-11-2010: Almost There! - Have been spewing my braincells to get the book completed before Christmas 2010 and I can proudly announce that in 7.5k words time I will be complete! - Art Updates include: — Uarit — Abrielus — Tellog

24-09-2010 : New Artist Faid Hamzi enters! - The changes in Character Art are upon us… Faiz Hamzi is providing his skills and he is darn good - I am still updating the first 220 pages and is taking longer due to slipped disc in my back

05-09-2010 : The Way Forwards depends on the Past - I anticipate that the rewrite of the first 250 pages which has now reduced to 225 will be completed in one week or so, that will allow me to restart on the last 1/2 of the book which brings a new theme into play.

29-08-2010 : Website has new Look! - In preparation for major overhaul of all cat images, I have revamped the website - New Character Images will be coming online in Sept

26-08-2010 : Still Rewriting - I am still in the process of rewriting the first 200…which has grown to 250. - The Character Art will be undergoing some major changes in Sept 2010 - Length of Book has now grown from 120k to 140k planned.

04-07-2010 : 200 Page Rewrite - The next few weeks will be subtle changes throughout the story to add better character development and some mysterious happenings that will be better explained in Book 2.

26-06-2010 : New Website Design - Do let me know if you prefer the white background or preferred the original black - Chapter 27 is long but offers clues as to questions that relate to Book 2

18-06-2010 : Website will fluctuate! - Making dramatic changes to layout of the webpage… with view to complete by Monday. - Also I am getting to a rather exciting part of the story where 3 major characters are to perish in the most unexpected way…

30-05-2010 : Halfway Home - It has taken longer than expected, but I am now 1/2 way through the book. But I dont plan to spend another 5 months on the next half. I am still aiming for a end of September finish…

13-05-2010 : New Art - Uarit added to Character Art - Currently rewriting Chapters 18 to 22 as the writing wasn’t dynamic and needed alittle more energy.

08-05-2010 : Delayed Update - Been ill for a few weeks and that has hindered progress, but I am back in the writing seat and will be making some changes to the website

14-03-2010 : Elements no more… - I am making changes to the book to remove the Elemental magic and will only be concentrating to fire… this is due to several other books or projects/movies that use all 4 elements…

07-02-2010 : Story Update - Hopefully by the 14th Feb, I will have passed the 1/4 mark of my target for the story (in 4 weeks). Currently aiming to produce 120k words…though publishers will ask for more or less.

Jesus & Jade! - Jesus Garica Lopez from Mexico City, Mexico will bring life to the non-cat characters… and his image of Edominus has been added to the Concept Art section. Please visit the Concept Art section! - JGL is currently working with me on Rodri. - Jade Thompson a young artist from Leicester, UK will be producing the cat characters…soming soon. - Well done to both of them for getting past the countless number of applicants from Deviantart.com

05-02-2010 : 24 Hours and counting… - In the next 24 Hours i will decide on the artists that will conceptualise the characters in the book. There will be 22+ characters to be imaged. Some will be rewarding and some teasing… as you won’t know all of them. Exciting times! - Do not forget that the Author Section was updated this week.

05-02-2010 : Elemental no more…. - Due to coming across the term Elemental Cats on the (Optimus Prime voice) World Wide Web… I have decided to rename them to be Arcane Cats.
