I may have tried to leave Leicester a few times, but it's become my place to wake up to two cats, freeze when the heating’s off and most of all, get down to writing.
At a young age, my primary school teacher commented on my creativity and ability to tell stories. Somehow, I let other things get in the way, and it wasn't until I hit the the age of 29 that the bug to write awakened.
A veteran of writing festivals, a presence on Twitter and gobbling up all forms of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, I hope to bring a smile to others in the same way that other did for me, when aged 5, I would read with a torch under my duvet.
My preferred genre is YA Sci Fi, and I have a tendency to throw a droid in every novel - literally throw.
I am all for the traditional route and will keep pursuing it, but until I clinch an agent, self-publishing seems like a great journey for me to get involved in.
